This song uses the Soulwriters prompt “Use the name of a month in your song.” My Mom died on Fat Tuesday February 25 last year of Parkinson’s. We were able to have a funeral before lockdown, but it’s been a long, weird, year. And I need to write this song before I really can start writing other songs again.
