In the summer of 2018 at the suggestion of my son I downloaded the Animatics app onto my iPad and started creating short animations for the song. This project kind of came out of nowhere. "Belugaladriel" has been performed rarely, and I had almost forgot it existed. But, Simon and I had a delightful time making it up back in 2011 after a conversation we had about a hypothetical elven were-whale character. What else to name her? And Belugaladriel swam onto the screen of our silly theatre of the mind.
