This is a physical CD. This physical CD comes in a lovely six panel wallet and glossy finish. (There is no cellophane wrap however, in the hopes of adding a little less to the landfills.)
Mary Crowell has returned to Mystic Fig studio to work with Jeff and Maya Bohnhoff. I Have Missed You at My Table is her fourth solo album and is a second jazzy love letter to gaming. Consider it the heir to Crowell's 2012 release, Acolytes of the Machine & Other Gaming Stories.

lyrics
The Xbox Makes You Antisocial
(Copyright 2010 by Lilium Crowell and Mary C Crowell)
The Xbox makes you antisocial.
Aha, Aha. Aha, Aha.
The cell phone makes you think that you’re being social.
Aha, Aha. Aha, Aha.
The dryer lint makes you think you are creative.
Aha, Aha. Aha, Aha.
Chorus:
All these things fool you into thinking
You’re very . . . very. . . copacetic.
Your job makes you think that you are contributing.
Aha, Aha. Aha, Aha.
Verse
Your cubicle makes you think you are important.
Aha, Aha. Aha, Aha.
Computer makes you think that you are connected.
Aha, Aha. Aha, Aha.
The internet makes you feel you are informed.
Aha, Aha. Aha, Aha.
Chorus
Bridge
Social technology is making a fool of me!
Your bank makes you think that you’ve got it covered.
Aha, Aha. Aha, Aha.
Texting makes you think that you are a writer.
Aha, Aha. Aha, Aha.
Recycling makes you think you’ll save the world.
Aha, Aha. Aha, Aha.
Chorus (Variant):
Then there’s a bridge – that bridge is to nowhere.
Aha, Aha. Aha, Aha.
Social technology
Has made a fool out of me.
Social technology
Has made a fool out of me.

The lyrics are brilliant and vocal arrangements irresistible. The vocal counterpoint in “Last Spaceship,” “Common Ground,” and “Quetico” are particular favorites of mine. Mary Crowell
Songs of mythology, magpies, and Mal performed by a duo who have truly mastered their instruments--guitar and voice. This album is superb. Mary Crowell
Swing dance, blues, and jazz with great lyrics and energy played live to an appreciative audience! And there's a bit of the geek there too. Mary Crowell

A silky, smooth, sultry voice weaving lyrical imagery upon a canvas of exquisite tonal contours. Immensely pleasurable. The bouncy cheer of " Little Bird" is a delightful contrast to the dusky jazz groove of this truly beautiful album. Much gratitude for you S J ! roddylloyd
